Too Hyp to Hop

Its been a bit crazy in the house in the last few weeks. The painters have been in (obviously not a euphemism!) decorating the kitchen, hallway and nursery. A new carpet has been fitted in the little one's room and the nursery furniture arrived all within two days.
Apart from the cross stitch Caroline has been working on to be completed and framed, the nursery is all but finished, we just need baby to arrive now. Eight weeks and counting!

Since my last update Caroline has gotten over the UTI she had picked up. It had her feeling low and lousy for a while but I'm glad to report that she is back to normal!
Last week she went for a hypnotherapy session to help get over the fear of blood, wounds and hospitals in general. Weirdly, she's not overly bothered about the whole giving birth thing, it still scares her just not as much as other stuff. Certain words like tearing, nerves, canula... those are what are freaking her out more. There's at least another 2 hypno sessions to go, as well as the disc she's to listen to at home to train her mind to keep calm. Here's hoping it works!
Due to my various "accidents" at work, I apparently featured a lot in the initial conversation Caz had with the therapist (severed tendon, torn retina, ripped face at Christmas to mention a few). The way I see it, I've spent the last 11 years preparing her for this...

Another strange thing going on just now is the number of nosebleeds she's been having, yet that doesn't faze her in the slightest. I don't get it!

So the nursery, in my opinion, looks amazing. It's so calm and relaxing in there! Being the weird rabbit people that we are, naturally there are bunnies everywhere. On the mobile, the cushions, the blinds, the walls...! Caroline likes a design project at the best of times and this was no exception. She had an idea of what she wanted to do in the nursery right from the start and together we nailed it!!! See for yourself, and please let me know what you think of it!

Elvis though he would get in amongst us both and help with the building of the furniture, just to make sure that we were doing it right you know?!

We think he approved!

To finishing off this post, I'll leave you with a quote from a very close friend of ours who shall remain unnamed to spare their blushes...!

"How does the baby breathe in there?"
